About Us

Who are we?
All parents and carers automatically become members of the PTA when their child joins Herons’ Moor school.  The PTA, or “Friends of Herons’ Moor”  have a shared interest in the school.  We welcome anyone... parent, carer or relative, with a bit of time to join the committee and get involved!
What do we do?
We aim to raise money for the little things that make a big difference to the children and staff at Herons' Moor. We do this by having fun and doing things we all enjoy - school discos, ladies' pamper evenings, shopping nights, entertainment evenings including Bingo and the fabulous Circus Berzercus and the Christmas and Summer prize draws. We also serve teas and coffee after school events such as the new intake parents evening and summer open evening
How do we do it?
Well, all the normal things you remember from school... the fetes, the sales, the raffles etc etc, BUT... now we have something that we can use to our benefit... internet sales!  Many many parents at the school purchase goods daily over the Web, and we have harnessed that sales power by 'funneling' through the school site and reaping affiliate rewards offered by companies.
